Raudondvaris Hoptrans eye back-to-back titles on FIBA 3x3 World Tour at Constanta Masters

CONSTANTA (Romania) - After their spectacular triumph in Debrecen, Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) are aiming to continue their hot form on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2023 at the Constanta Masters on September 9-10.

In a loaded field of 16, the lethal Lithuanians know it won't be easy. They will await both QD winner teams on Pool C.

Antwerp TOPdesk (BEL) have top billing and are not far removed from their domination in Lausanne.

It is another opportunity to watch walking buckets Jonas Foerts and Vic Van Oosterwyck, who have helped lift Antwerp up a level.

But Pool A looks like the 'Group of Death' with Antwerp to battle dangerous Wuxi (CHN) and emerging Hangzhou (CHN) on Day One.

It will be a re-match of the quarters in Debrecen, where Antwerp edged Hangzhou 21-16 and the Chinese better come prepared with better game plans to stop Dennis Donkor, who was unstoppable with 13 points in a heat check.

No.2 seeds Amsterdam HiPRO (NED) are one of the top-rated teams on the planet, but have only made it past the quarters once from six attempts this season.

Desperate to end their title drought, Amsterdam will again rely on a monster performance from Worthy de Jong, who has been absolutely insane with a ridiculous average of 9.3 ppg on the World Tour.

De Jong will have to test his crazy athleticism against the big Jurkovitz boys from Fribourg (SUI) in an intriguing Day One contest.

The teams have history with Amsterdam overcoming Fribourg in the final of the Pristina Challenger with de Jong starring with a game-high 11 points.

The third team in Pool B is Princeton, who have carried on the tradition of this legendary American 3x3 team and they've found a new star in Henry Caruso, who will need to fire against Antwerp and Hangzhou.

Pool D will be highlighted by a blockbuster clash between Vienna (AUT) and Liman Huishan NE (SRB), who are both looking for their first Masters titles this season.

Liman have loaded up with the returns of superstars Stefan Kojic and Mihailo Vasic and they'll go toe-to-toe with scoring machine Quincy Diggs and high-flyer Filip Kramer.

Constanta Arrow Sea (ROU) will be hoping to be inspired by the loud support of their fans as they aim to shock the world in Pool D.

Utrecht (NED) and Wuhan (CHN) are the favorites in the six-team qualifying draw.
