Liman Huishan NE shine on Day 1 at 3x3 World Tour Constanta Masters
CONSTANTA (Romania) - Liman Huishan NE (SRB) emerged victorious against stiff competition, going undefeated on Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Constanta Masters on September 9.
THE TEAM
After making it all the way to the final in Macau earlier in the season, Liman Huishan NE came out on Day 1 on fire to stake their claim as a serious contender.
They started off with a statement 17 - 21 win against another contending side in Vienna. Stefan Kojic and Ning Zhang both scored 7 points each in the winning effort. They continued in stride against home side Constanta Arrow Sea. Zhang was once again on the offensive as his 11-point showing carried his side to a 22 - 15 victory. Mihailo Vasic was crucial on the boards as he picked up 8 rebounds in the game.
Another team that went perfect on the Day were Lausanne Masters winners Antwerp TOPdesk (BEL), They defeated Chinese sides Hangzhou and Wuxi led by Dennis Donkor and Bryan De Valck who had a stellar offensive showing each to lead their side to a strong Day 1.

Debrecen Masters winners Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) went undefeated as well with MVP Aurelijus Pukelis leading the charge.
Worthy De Jong heralded Amsterdam HiPRO (NED) to a fantastic Pool phase as they went 2/2 as well.
THE PLAYER
Amsterdam HiPRO’s Worthy De Jong was out in full flourish in Constanta. His 11-point effort led them to victory against Fribourg. He scored 9 points in their next game against Princeton, marking him as the top scorer for the day with 20 points.
