Lithuanian teams Raudondvaris and Marijampole meet in blockbuster at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Wuxi Masters 2023

WUXI (China) - Lithuanian loyalty will be split when Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) and Marijampole Mantinga (LTU) clash in a Day One blockbuster at the FIBA 3x3 Wuxi Masters

The Lithuanian teams headline Pool B, which also features Wuhan (CHN) who boast 3x3 legend Marko Savic.

All eyes will be on the game between second seeds Raudondvaris and Marijampole, who finished runners-up at the recent Taipei Challenger
Evaldas Dziaugys was a walking bucket and he'll need to be dripping wet in Wuxi because Raudondvaris oozes firepower.

It's easy to see why they have won a Masters this season because Aurelijus Pukelis and Marijus Uzupis form one of the deadliest duos in the business, while no one flies higher than Modestas Kumpys.

Top seeds Ub Huishan NE (SRB) have now gone six stops on the World Tour without a title, but are hoping for better luck on their seventh attempt. You just know superstars Strahinja Stojacic and Marko Brankovic will be extra motivated to rediscover their MVP form.

They are drawn in a tricky Pool A featuring Sansar MMC Energy (MGL), who are led by sharpshooter Anand Ariunbold, and Saitama ALPHAS EXE (JPN) boasting legendary trickster Tomoya Ochiai.

One of the most anticipated Day One games is surely Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL) against Lausanne Sport LS (SUI) in Pool D.

The Mongolians aren't far removed from their historic triumph in Shanghai, but will get all they can handle against the Swiss who have reached the semis in successive Masters events.

A key will be the match up between big fellas Delgernyam Davaasambuu and Carlos Martinez, who might just have a battle for the ages in the paint.

Martinez was unstoppable in Lausanne's victory over Ulaanbaatar in the quarters at the Chengdu Masters

Tubingen (GER) can't be underestimated after they reached the semis at the Hongcheon Challenger

Paris (FRA) are absolutely a contender with dynamic duo Franck Seguela and Paul Djoko capable of being the most powerful one-two punch in Wuxi.

The two other teams in Pool C will come from the qualifying draw, which features Abu Dhabi Masters runners-up Partizan (SRB), Pirot (SRB) and Uberlandia (BRA).
