Top scorer Stojacic named MVP of FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters 2020

DEBRECEN (Hungary) - The former number one 3x3 player in the world Stefan Stojacic was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters 2020 after leading Liman (SRB) to the championship and being the co-top scorer of the event on August 30, 2020.

 The man known as 'Mr Robot' could not miss in the second largest city in Hungary. He caught fire in the semi-finals against his Novi Sad (SRB) rivals with 13 points and had a game-high 8 points in the final against Utena Uniclub (LTU), He was the joint-top scorer in Debrecen (tied with Utena Uniclub's Ignas Vaitkus) with 41 points.

The 31-year-old is famous for being one of 3x3's best sharpshooters but his performance in Debrecen was on another level. He shot 52% (14/27) from behind the arc outdoors by 35 degrees on the weekend.

He also contributed 13 rebounds and 6 key assists and led all players in Player Value, which measures the overall statistical production of each player.

It is the 4th ever that Stojacic is named MVP of a FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters after Debrecen 2017, Utsunomiya 2018 and Chengdu 2018,

The Serbian star was back on the World Tour after an injury-plagued 2019 season.
