Edmonton protect the North on Day 1 of FIBA 3x3 World Tour Montreal Masters

MONTREAL (Canada) - Edmonton were the only Canadian team to make it through to the quarter-finals on Day 1 at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Montreal Masters on September 7, 2019.

The Canadian squad, led by Steve Sir with 21 points, finished Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Montreal Masters undefeated and on top of Pool C after their two wins over Lausanne Masters winners NY  Harlem (21-19) and San Juan, from Puerto Rico. With Jordan Baker back on the World Tour after 7 years (!), the Canadians were just unstoppable in pool play. NY Harlem, who defeated San Juan, will join them on Sunday.

Another day in the office for Novi Sad and Dusan Bulut. Mr, Bulutproof led all scorers with 22 points (tied with Disco Domo of NY Harlem). The 3.time World Tour winners were too much to handle for Old Montreal (21-14) and Lausanne (21-13). Marko Savic broke the internet in the first game of the day with a dime of the year candidate.
