Ulaanbaatar sets record of non-stop FIBA 3x3 Official competition action

ULAANBAATAR (Mongolia) - The Mongolian capital becomes the capital of 3x3 over 9 straight days of hosting 3 different FIBA 3x3 Official competitions.

Welcome to the new Mecca of 3x3! No other city had ever hosted several FIBA 3x3 Official Competitions over such an extended and continuous period of time,

The action started on Saturday, June 1, with the first stop of the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League Asian-European conference, that saw both Russian teams dominate the competition. Then, on Sunday, Sükhbaatar Square hosted the 2nd stop of the Asian-European conference of the Nations League, with a similar Russian triumph.

After the Nations League, the 8th edition of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup began on Monday and will last until Friday. The Mongolian fans will see the 40 best FIBA 3x3 U18 teams in the world competing for the gold medal. 

Last but not least, on Saturday and Sunday, and still on Sükhbaatar Square, some of the best 3x3 professional teams will compete in the 3rd edition of the 3x3 Ulaanbaatar Challenger for two spots in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Saskatoon Masters (July 20-21) and USD 15,000 prize money for the winner.
