Novi Sad Al Wahda all set to connect 4 after FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters seeding

DEBRECEN (FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2018) - Another record? Novi Sad Al Wahda (SRB) got a favorable Pool and are ready to compete for a 4th straight Masters title following the seeding of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters, which will take place in the second largest city in Hungary on August 30-31, 2018.

Toughest pool at the #3x3WT Debrecen Masters? 👀

The 2-time World Tour winners will face 2 Top 20 teams in the world and still we call that seeding favorable?!? The thing is Kranj (SLO) have historically been a good matchup for Novi Sad Al Wahda in World Tour history: 8 games, 8 wins for the number 1 team in the world.

Vrbas Avai (SRB) have climbed up 32 spots in the Team Ranking in the last month but will make their first-ever appearance at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour in Hungary.

Gotta be in their DNA 🤷🏽‍♂️ @stojacic

Like it is the case in all FIBA 3x3 competitions, the seeding is conducted automatically according to the 3x3 Individual World ranking (of the three best players from each team). According to FIBA regulations, teams are seeded as follows:

Will Liman Tesla Voda (SRB) recover from their heartbreaking loss in the final of the Lausanne Masters? They'd better get their acts together real quick with Ralja Intergalactic (SRB) and local favorites Team Budapest (HUN) in Pool B.

Pool C has potential to be hotter than Justin Timberlake's new Bio Beige Jordans. If 2 Top 10 teams in the world wasn't enough (Riga (LAT) and Belgrade (SRB), think about the potential addition of Team Gagarin (RUS), who's now the #11 team in the world and will compete in the Qualifying Draw's Pool A with Zkalns (LAT) and Peterborough (GBR).

Last but not least, Pool D should bring plenty of drama with another 2 Top 10 teams; Amsterdam Inoxdeals (NED) and Humpolec Bernard (CZE), together with the winners of the Qualifying Draw's Pool B. There will be plenty of new faces in that pool with Bonn (GER), Kragujevac (SRB) and Zürich (SUI).

If you’re not coming to Kossuth Square for the event (the entrance is free!), make sure you follow the livestream Thursday and Friday on FIBA 3x3's official YouTube channel.
