Liman win FIBA 3x3 World Tour Mexico City Masters 2017
MEXICO CITY (FIBA 3x3 World Tour)- Liman (SRB) won the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Mexico City Masters - the final Masters of the season - after defeating Zemun Master (SRB) on October 1 2017.
The young Liman team (25 years old on average) took home their second Masters title of the season (after Debrecen) following a thrilling 21-15 all-Serbian final.
Stefan Stojacic caught fire in the final with 14 points, including 5 shots from behind the arc. His teammate Aleksandar Ratkov was held to just 3 points in the title game but was named MVP of the tournament after his heroics in the previous stages, including the game-winner in the semi-final. The two players co-led the scoring charts with 43 points apiece.
In the Individual Competitions, Serbian marksman Dejan Majstorovic (Novi Sad Al Whada (UAE) won the shoot-out contest after tying the all-time World Tour record of 15 points.
Chris Staples (USA) left the crowd in awe during the Dunk Contest. The FIBA 3x3 World Cup Dunk Contest silver medalist narrowly beat Arek 'ArO” Przybylski in a contest that came down to the last dunk.
With the conclusion of the Mexico City Masters, the spots and the standings in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Bloomage Beijing Final on October 28-29 2017 have been confirmed. The teams will be as follows:

Prize money reached an all-time high 600,000$ this year in the FIBA 3x3 professional season.
