Zhang Ziyi and Bikramjit Gill top all scorers on Day 1 at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu Masters 2017

CHENGDU (FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2017) - Beijing's Zhang Ziyi and Hamamatsu's Bikramjit Gill topped all scorers after day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu Masters 2017 in Chengdu, China on September 23.

The 23-year-old Zhang Ziyi guided Beijing to the quarter-finals of the Chengdu Masters after scoring 18 points in the pool phase. The speedy Zhang, who scored 8 points against reigning World Tour champs Ljubljana (SLO), had his day-high against Hamamatsu (JPN), when he scored 10 points.

His opponent in that game Hamamatsu's Bikramjit Gill tied him in the scoring charts, after enjoying the finest individual performance of the day: a whopping 12 points against Beijing.

Third was 'The Birdman' Blaz Cresznar (Ljubljana) who tallied 17 points, including a couple of high-flying dunks and two-pointers left and right.
