Top 10 reasons to follow the Lausanne Masters

LAUSANNE (2016 FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is back like Frank Ocean! The 4th Masters of the season stops in Switzerland and we give you the top 10 reasons to follow the Lausanne Masters on FIBA 3x3's official YouTube channel.

1. MONEY IN THE BANK, PART 2 - So Michael 'Money in the Bank' Hicks didn't exactly shine at the Prague Masters (pool phase elimination). The Gdansk franchise player is back in Switzerland with a vengeance. What would people say if 'Money in the Bank' did not feel at home in the Country of Banks.

2. THIRD TIME LUCKY? - Saskatoon (CAN) finished third in Mexico City, then second in Prague. The 2014 World Tour runner-ups are the number one seed in Lausanne and have good reasons to think this is their time.

3. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT - Speaking of World Tour runner-ups, say hi to Team Kranj (SLO) who achieved that last year in Abu Dhabi. Switzerland suits the Slovenians well: they won the Lausanne Masters back in 2013.

4. LOCAL FAVOURITES - There is "loud" and then there is the deafening noise Swiss fans produce when Team Lausanne step on the 3x3 court. The team was upgraded this summer so expect to hear the crowd this weekend all the way to Geneva.

5. CURRY STOPPER - Back in 2007, Stefan Stojacic helped Serbia beat USA in the gold-medal game of the FIBA U19 World Championship. On that American team, a few good prospects including DeAndre Jordan and a certain Steph Curry. Stojacic is now killing it on the 3x3 courts and makes his World Tour debut this weekend in Lausanne.

6. EUROPEAN CHAMPS PREVIEW - The FIBA 3x3 European Championships come next week but we will get a first glimpse of what to come this week: Team Paris and Team Pavia are basically the French and Italian national teams respectively. Some players from Team Valladolid are also expected to represent Spain in Romania next week.

7. DUNK FEST - Just when we thought the US losing their hegemony over dunking, power dunker Doug Anderson is changing things, one broken rim at a time.

8. WOMEN GOT GAME - For the first time ever, we will pay tribute to women's 3x3 at the World Tour with an exhibition game between the French and Swiss national teams on Saturday.

9. BEHIND THE MIC- He can rhyme like Nas and bark like DMX. He also knows a thing or two about 3x3: Kyle Montgomery is back on the mic for the Lausanne Masters.
