Just one month to go before the 2015 FIBA 3x3 World Tour

MIES (2015 FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - The fourth edition of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour - FIBA 3x3's flagship event - will start in Manila, Philippines on 1 August 2015.

Tensions mounts in the world of 3x3 as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour is just one month away from a startling start in the Filipino capital.

Several World Tour players already shined at the European Games and are now battling it out to earn a precious ticket to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, whose total prize money will reach 200k USD this season.

Some iconic World Tour teams already have their ticket, sometimes more than one. A notable change this year: teams are allowed to play at multiple World Tour events regardless of their country of residence. This is how reigning champs Team Novi Sad Al Wahda will not only play in Manila but also at the Prague and Beijing Masters this August.

The Manila event might set the tone and immediately become the best FIBA 3x3 World Tour event ever, with not only the 2014 champs but also the 2013 winners (Team Ljubljana) and a new-look Doha team, which still features Yaseen Musa, who helped Qatar won the FIBA 3x3 World Championships in 2014.

Four more teams have already secured a spot in Manila, including Team Beirut from Lebanon.

Five more teams will join them in Manila in a new iconic location: the Robinsons Galleria, another state-of-the-art shopping mall where a huge crowd is already expected.

Surely the local fans will be cheering for one of the three Filipino teams, which are foreseen to play at the event. The spectacular Terrence Romeo is announced to be training to qualify.

Will he have a team talented enough to deal with three of the best squads on the World Tour circuit?
